She was predeceased by: her daughter Tina Marie Slate. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Slate, Charles Schaefer, Jr. (Maria) and Lisa Elliott (Will); her grandchildren, William Elliott, Melisa Elliott, Shawn Elliott, Nicholas Schaefer and Allison Schaefer; her great grandchild Malachi Elliott; and her sisters, Estelle Chappell, Betty Dowden and Willoughby "Bea" Jackson.
