He was predeceased by: his brother Eddie Dean McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Bryant McDaniel; his daughter Tracy McDaniel Sykes (Mike Dean); his grandchildren, Dillon Sykes and Jordan Sykes; his brother Michael Louis McDaniel; and his siblings-in-law, Mary McDaniel, Anna Lambert (Donnie), Jane York, Jennifer Grayson and Mike Bryant (Myranell). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
