He is survived by: his wife Peggy McCurdy Groves; his daughters, Stacy Bendt (Bob) and Tricia Wallace (John Jr.); his grandchildren, Matthew Hudson, John Riley Wallace III and Claire Ann Wallace; and his sisters, Evelyn Huneycutt, Virginia Groves and Rebecca Huffman.
