She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Whitaker; her parents, Hobart Norton and Martha Norton; her siblings, Willard Norton of Herman Norton, L. B, H. V. Norton and Ruby Norton Tuttle; her son-in-law Victor "Butch" Rucker; and her grandmothers, Campbell, June Ellison, Joyce Thompson and Margaret Peters.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Leeanne Wyrick and Connor Holland (Paige); her great grandchildren, Heather Johnson (Roger Gonzalez), Dempsey Holland and Vivianne Holland; her siblings-in-law, Jean Whitaker Evans and Carson "Buck" Tuttle; her caregivers, Sharon Fugate, Claudia Brooks, Bonnie Mabes, Jean Carmack and Kenny Cox; and her friends, Barbara Taylor Sears, Jimmy Taylor and Larry Taylor "Little" Bill Rucker. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, friends and good neighbors.
