He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Short and Ruby Short; and his sister Linda Hazelwood. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Short; his son Kyle Short (Roxanna); his grandson Chad Hutson (Frannie); his great grandchildren, Alaina, Elisha and Elleigh; and his siblings, Randle Short (Joyce), DeVauda Mullins (Dana), Ruby Parker (James), Wanda Shackleford, Bartie Sampson (WK) and Roberta Arnett. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
