He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Brake and Virginia Weems Buckner; his siblings, Jeanette Yates (Gray), Jerry and Bonnie Buckner; his wife Sandra Herndon Buckner; his children, Chris (Angela), Ben (Christine) and Sam (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Zeke, Emily, Elijah, Brett, Grabe, Philip, Ryan, Grace and Andrew Buckner.
