He was predeceased by: his father Frank Emerson; his wife Cheryl; and his siblings, Warren, Robert Emerson, Ruth Bacon, Rebecca Eaton, Shirley Emerson and Gale Gendron.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike McAdams (Lisa), Randy Emerson (Robyn) and Daren Emerson (Crystal); his siblings, Otis Emerson, Rosalie Aldrich, Gloria Williams (Lawrence), Martha Smith, Ruby Johnson and Florence Welch (Donald); his grandchildren, Ashley, Britney McAdams, Evan, Caitlin, Jessica, Ryan Emerson, Stetson and Bailey Hays; and his great grandchildren, Kolby McAdams, Elijah Aderholt, Wryli, Raena Harris and Macie Kennet.
