He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Irwin Ferrell; his son Haney Ferrell; and his sisters, Rosa Tanner and Elizabeth Hankins. He is survived by: his son Harold Ferrell; his grandson Gene Ferrell; his daughter-in-law Melissa Ferrell; and his sister Bonnie Stephenson (Leslie).
