He was predeceased by: his parents, Watkins Welch Hagewood and Ethel Groves Hagewood; his wife Annie Lucille Christy Hagewood; his children, Beverly Kay Hagewood and Ricky Lee Hagewood; and his siblings, Wesley, Ewing, Martin, Clayton, Erbie Hagewood, Elizabeth Blackwell, Marie Christy and Maydell Jones.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Faye Garnett (Willie), Patricia Ann Resheske, Mary Elizabeth Cooper (Brian), Teresa Dell Byard and Vicky Cordell (Glen); and his brother Clifford "Jack" Hagewood. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
