He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Harrison Byard and Nannie Mae Smith Byard; and his siblings, Carlos Byard, Peggy Black, Mary Stanley, Shirley Gelia and Donna Rider.
He is survived by: his children, Chadwick Harrison Byard (Melinda), Chad Byard and Brenda Omifracke (Jim); his significant other Chrissa Christopher; his stepdaughter Kimberly Malone (Tracy); his brothers, Tommy Byard (Mary), Danny Byard (Judy) and Bobby Byard (Shirley); and his grandchildren, Tyler Byard, Colby Byard, Reed Malone and Tate Malone.
