Ruby Evelyn Parchment Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Evelyn Parchment of Cumberland City, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Selmon David Rye and Addie Mai Alsobrooks Rye; her husband Sam Parchment; her daughter Kimberly Dawn Parchment; and her siblings, Jewel Clark, Gene Rye and Shirley Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Parchment Williams and Sandra Parchment Nissen; her grandchildren, Crystal Williams, Josh Williams, Erin Williams, Brett Morales, Brooke Morales and Jason Nissen; her brother-in-law Ray Parchment; and her close friend Mary Lou Dobbins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cumberland City First Baptist Church (500 Main St, Cumberland City, TN 37050). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cumberland City Cemetery (199-101 Parchman Ave, Cumberland City, TN 37050).
