He is survived by: his wife Jackie Thomas; his children, Robert Charles Thomas Jr. and Robin Thomas (Tony Rivera); his siblings, John Thomas Jr., Kathleen Sandford and Linda Thomas; and his grandchildren, Jaycie, Dustin and Alysa. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
