He was predeceased by: his parents, William Russell and Elna Russell; and his siblings, William E. Russell (Bertha), Joan R. Fussell (Jamie), Nancy R. Carter (Joe) and John W. "Jack" Russell.
He is survived by: his brother Carter D. Russell (Donna); and his nieces and nephews, Phillip Russell, Sherry Nolen, Beverly Malone, Jimmy Fussell and Scott Carter.
