She was predeceased by: her daughters, Leslie Dascanio and Lisa Dascanio; her siblings, Homer Thomas, Beryl Parchman, Ethleen McIntosh and Martha Ann Wisdom; and her son-in-law David Borders.
She is survived by: her children, Jacquelyn Borders, Jeffrey Dascanio (Angela), John Dascanio II (Aurora), Laura Sue Bowman and Sarah Fuhriman (Chris); and her siblings, Billy Seay Thomas, Bruce Thomas, Francis Wallace and Bernice Barnes. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
