She was predeceased by: her parents, Margie Marie Rochelle Gilliam and John H. Gilliam. She is survived by: her spouse Jerry C. Brunson; her siblings, Melody Gilliam (Jessie), Lanette Gilliam, John Gilliam (Brandy) and Chad Gilliam; her sister-in-law Janice Grooms; and her nieces and nephews, Desiree Estes, Ashleigh Gilliam, Tristan Bergman, Amber Gilliam, Colt Gilliam, Thoran Gilliam, Scott Seagraves and Shane Seagraves. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Rita had requested for donations to be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter, 1233 Mapleash Ave Columbia, TN 38401.
