He was predeceased by: his son Danyl Ross. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Hale Ross; his daughters, Jamie Ross-Wright of Culleoka and Chanisty McCoy of Culleoka; his siblings, David Ross (Gayle) of Indiana, Monica Cornwell (Brad) of Indiana and Carla Lincicum (Mark) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Alexis Nacaroto (Frank), Michael C. Self, Elizabeth Ross-Wright, Dakota Self (Jacquline), Wyatt Self, Jacob Branchau and Austin Branchau; and his great grandchildren, Sterling Nacarato and Ruby Cheyann Self.
