She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Victor Brewer (Carmen) and Lima Newton Suggs; her husband Eston Edward Shrum; and her son Billy Burgess. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Rita Burgess; and her grandson Benjamin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
