He was predeceased by: his parents, James Phillips and Edna Phillips; and his sister Linda Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Phillips of Crossville; and his children, Nickey (Amanda Phillips), David Phillips of Harriman, Cheryl Carpenter of Chattanooga, Kimberly Phillips of Chattanooga, Ben (Cynthia Loyd) and Debbie (Robert Simmons). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; also, by many, many special friends and extended family.
