It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Edward Hawes of Crossville, Tennessee, born in Barton City, Michigan, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Adam Hawes and Hilda Fern Hawes (Durr); and his daughter Amber Wardwell. He is survived by: his wife Nita Hawes; his children, David Hawes (Angela), Venetia Shomin, Stephanie Hawes, Renee Kruger (Jason) and Tim Adamcryk; his grandchildren, Matthew Whipple, Taylor Whipple, Eden Hawes, Darcy Hawes, Cameron Kruger, Connor Kruger, Kate Kruger, Derek Sproull and Ashley Wurster; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Grace, Camila, Trey and Annalise; and his siblings, Carol Hill and Ken Hawes.
