With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Baxter McCoy of Crossville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCoy and Marie McCoy; and his grandchildren, Austin McCoy and Alexis Houston. He is survived by: his wife Opal Sapp McCoy; his children, Keith McCoy (Davida) of Crossville, Greg McCoy (Jeri) of Portland, TN and Lisa Munsey (Billy) of Jonesborough, TN.; and his grandchildren, Megan Goodman (Nate), Keith McCoy (Kamille), Stone McCoy (Taylor), Jennifer Diaz (Eric), Seth McCoy (Taylor), Andy Pharris (Jessica) and Candace Pharris (Jarrett).

In remembrance of Bill's life, the family asks that in lieu of flowers charitable donations be made to Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, PO Box 2206, Brentwood, TN 37024.
