He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Francis and Effie Lewis Rector; his sons, Doyle and Delbert Rector; his grandsons, Dustin and Michael; and his siblings, Alva, Thurman Rector, Ruby Jordan and Richard Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Cleasie M. Rector; his sons, Dennie Rector (Teresa), Danny Rector (Mary), Donnie and Darrell Rector; his grandchildren, Kayla, Troy, Austin, Rebecca and Emily; and his sister Geneva Sorrell. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
