He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Wood and Bunola Wood (Connely); and his brother Daniel Wood. He is survived by: his wife April Wittendorf Wood (Brown) of Crossville, TN; his sons, Christopher Clinton Wood of Cookeville, TN and Thomas Fate Wood of Crossville, TN.; his brother Paul Wood of Putnam County, TN; and his nieces and nephews, Tosha and Paul Jr. Wood.
