She was predeceased by: her former husband Jimmy Turner Sr.; her son Phillip Turner; her parents, Andy Edwards and Charlene Rose Edwards; and her sister Sonya Golliher.

She is survived by: her son Jimmy Turner Jr. (Jessica); her grandchildren, Kayden Turner, Isaiah Turner, Ainsley Turner and Liam Phillip Turner; her husband Thomas Hammonds; and her siblings, Jeannie Moore (Nolan), Sherry Edwards (David), Robert Wayne Edwards, James Allen Edwards and Tammy Moore (Lonnie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Evans Mortuary to help with funeral expenses.
