She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Oakes and Carrie Loucreshia Oakes (Parham); her husband Thomas William Godsey; her daughters, Carol Godsey and Charlotte Qualls; and her siblings, Hazel Taylor, Denny, Herman, Hershell, Doyle, Carl, Stitzel, Coleman, Haskell and Estel Oakes.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Godsey (Mary), Tammie Dyer (James), Sue Hopper (Billy) and Angie Hall; and her grandchildren, Carla Ehrsam, Billy Hopper, Jr., Harold Qualls, Jr., Mark Qualls, Tommy Godsey, Kelly Stephens and Charleigh Dyer. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
