He is survived by: his wife Gloria Young of Crossville; his daughter Lia Valerie Sherrill (Matthew) of Crossville; his grandchildren, Donald Liam Sherrill and Patricia Alvarado (Charles Stallworth); his great grandchildren, Terez Toyens and Kamia Ozara; and his brother Billy Young (Cathy) of Massachusetts.

“We just heard of Bobs passing and wish we could have attended his funeral....we didn't know....We are devastated as of the news....he brought my mom and dad to Crossville to live and then the rest of my family came here to live and were all happy to be in Tennessee because of Bob....God Bless him....We are so grateful for the opportunity to have known him for many years and his wife and daughter.....He will always be a part of us all as he is the one that brought us all together!”
