It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Lawson of Crossville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Lawson and Ruby Lawson; and his siblings, Arnold, Billy, Buford, Jim, Shorty Lawson, Mildred Angel, Bonnie Brewer and JoAnn Brewer.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Lawson; his daughters, Jessica (David Muzia) and Jennifer (Erick Bell); his grandson Newt; and his siblings, Hubert Lawson of Wabeno, Wisconsin and Becky Fields of Crossville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“One of the nicest most decent men I’ve ever met. Be welcomed me to his home like I was a long lost friend or family. Only met him twice and actually sent him a letter telling him he was a “great American“. I found him to be absolutely honest and forthright.
