He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kerns of Crossville, TN; his son Richard A. Kerns of Manchester, TN; and his grandchildren, Richard John Kerns, Ryan Kerns, Devon Kerns, Jacob Kerns (Casy) and Kyra Kerns.
