He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Shrum and Doris Stone Shrum; and his grandparents, Nicholas, Grace Shrum, Emerson and Minnie Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Shrum of Crossville, TN; his children, Nicholas Shrum (Danielle) of Corryton, TN and Amanda Garrett (Jeremy) of Crossville, TN; and his grandchildren, Cody Garrett, Levi Garrett and Ava Shrum.
