She was predeceased by: her son Eugene Marshall; and her siblings, Joe England and Betty England. She is survived by: her husband Milton Gillespie of Crossville, TN; her children, Larry Edward Gillespie (Tracy) of Michigan, Gregory Marshall of California and Pamela Jean Marshall of California; and her sister Minnie Hickinbottom of West Virginia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
