He was predeceased by: his father Ronnie Ricketts; his uncle Carl Ricketts; and his grandparents, Juanita, Lawrence Ricketts, Doris Engle and Oakley Engle.
He is survived by: his mother Sonia Ricketts; his wife Alicia Ricketts; his children, Hannah Ricketts, Colton Ricketts and Austin Scherer; his sister Tammy Amonette (Scott); his nieces, Chelsea Schubert, Carlee Amonette and Allison Amonette; and his nephew Jackie Schubert. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
