The passing of Mary Alice Payne of Crossville, Tennessee, born in Bountiful, Utah leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 10, 2024 at the age of 99. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Parrish and Elizabeth Parrish (Robbins); her husband Gilbert Payne (Gib); her son Ron Payne; her grandson Eric Payne; and her siblings, Lorene Bircumshaw, Leah Benjamin, Wanda Lowe, Doris Stevens and Tom Parrish.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Payne, Jerry Payne (Jamie), Randy Payne (Deana) and Jim Payne; her grandchildren, Tiffany (Robert), Tammy, Aaron (Tara), Matthew (Laura), Jason, Brian (Kristy), Emily (Ruben) and Taylor (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Parker, Christian, Haylee, Ella, Ben, Lily, Landon, Annabelle, Connor, Elijah, Mirabel, Grace, Ava, Sawyer, Bella, Blissy, Crosby and Griffin.
The family is also asking that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Cumberland County Playhouse on their website, ccplayhouse.com with a note "In memory of Alice Payne," or by contacting Katy Parrent at the Playhouse at (931) 484-5000, ext. 118.
