He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie E. Smith and Ethel M. Tollett Smith; his wife Debra Smith; his siblings, Frank Smith and Sue Pennington; and his nephews, Seth Smith and Matthew Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Louie Smith (Trish) of Crossville, TN and Benjamin Smith (Ashley) of Crossville, TN; his siblings, Laddie Smith of Crossville, Renee Smith of Crossville and Brenda Gillispie (Jerry) of North Carolina; his nephew Sam Smith (Jennifer) of Crossville; and his grandchildren, Ethan Smith, Benjamin Smith, Emory Smith, Ally Smith, Raymond Smith, Eli Smith, Tylor Boniol and Brittney Bright. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
