He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Wallace Long and Ova Owens Long; and his siblings, Kathleen Choate, Geraldine Morgan, Jack, Ted, Stanley, Charles, Bill, Jim and Sherwood Long.
He is survived by: his wife Willie Miller Long; his sons, Larry Long and David Long; his granddaughters, Melanie Kabore, Alyson Hale (Jason) and Chelsey Long; and his sisters, Lenora Henke and Dorothy Clawson. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
