He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Cottrell. He is survived by: his children, Kristy Cottrell Meadows (Josh), Sherry Cottrell Phillips (Curt) and Jeffrey Bolin (Brittany); his grandchildren, Blake Phillips, Kiara Phillips, Dylan Phillips and Wesley Meadows; his mother Wilda Cottrell Scott (Ellis); his siblings, Allen Cottrell (Chandra), Paul Cottrell (Delta), Sandy Erickson (Charlie) and Shirley Epperson (Jon); and his former wife Tempie Cottrell.
