He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Ramey and Gypsie Ramey (Chaney); his son Delmus Lee Brendel; his grandson Leland Noel McNeil; and his siblings, Jeanette Hudson, Lillian Goodwin, Geneva Padgett, William Jennings Ramey and James Teldon Ramey.
He is survived by: his wife Arga Faye Ramey; his children, Angela McNeil (Brad), Tonya Bergeron (Robert), Kimberly Robinson (David), Brittany Beaty, John Ramey (Kristie) and Bevy Reed Brendel (Allison); his daughter-in-law Jean Brendel; and his siblings, Gayle Ramey Wells (Richard), Jess Ramey (Phyllis) and Teddy Ramey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
