He is survived by: his wife Diana Peters Gilson; his children, Cherie Baasch and Jody Venuti; his grandchildren, John, Dean, Anthony, Alyssa, Brittany and Gene; and his siblings, Kay Stewart, Rose Parker and Merle Gilson. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
