He was predeceased by: his parents, John Redman and Hassie Redman (Maddox); his son James Quentin Redman; and his siblings, John Redman, Reldon Redman, Joy Redman, Huey Redman, Mary Fleeman, Christene Patman and Dora Moss.

He is survived by: his wife Lucille Redman (Templeton); and his children, Jack Templeton, Mike Roberts, Gregory L. Redman, Carmen Eugene Redman and Wanda Roberts. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
