He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dickenson and Fannie Lou Dickenson (Hale); his son D. J. Wyatt; his half-brother Wayne Sherrill; and his sisters, Wanda Garrett and Linda Dickenson.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Ann Dickenson; his children, Josh Hyder, Blake Dickenson (Pam), Ryan Dickenson, Trevor Norris and Jessica Stephens; his grandchildren, Hailey, Jaxson, Grove, Nora, Oliver, Teddy and Miles; and his brothers, Clarence Dickenson (Susie), Larry Dickenson and Elmer Junior Dickenson.
