He was predeceased by: his son Steve. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Ann Sabine; his son Jay; his daughters-in-law, Rose Hamby Sabine and Toni Sabine; and his grandson Jordon Hall-Sabine. He is also survived by sisters-in-law as well as nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cumberland County Chess Club or the Art Circle Public Library.
