He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Wood and Florence Wood; his son Billy Wood; and his siblings, Albert Wood, Estle Wood, Hebron Wood, Addean Standefer and Mary Ellen Brewer.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Simmons Wood; his children, Kenneth Wood (Valarie) and Karen Cottrell (Lonnie); his daughter-in-law Selena Wood; his grandchildren, Kevin, Kristy, Adam, Kalon and Kari; and his siblings, Richard Wood of Crossville, May Bell Hill of Mount Juliet and Ruby King of Crossville.
