It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Dale Woods of Crossville, Tennessee, born in South Vienna, Ohio, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Woods and Isabel Woods (Turvey); and his grandson Justin Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Woods; his children, Ken Woods and Karen Burgess (Tim); his grandchildren, Kelly Reed, Eric Burgess and William Woods; his great grandchildren, Max Reed, Miles Reed, Matthew Reed, Justin Burgess, Hudson Burgess and Oliver Burgess; and his brothers, Donald Woods and Richard Woods.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gideons International.
