He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Dankwardt; his children, Gary Dankwardt, Jr. of Sparta, TN, Heidi Franklin (Sean) of Arizona, Holly Mefford (Paul) and Amber Wiggins (Ken) of Crossville, TN; his grandchildren, Christian Lawson, Colton Lawson, Lexi Wiggins, Alex Franklin, Dani Franklin, Hailey Mefford, Paul Mefford III and Katelynn Mefford; his brother Robert Dankwardt Jr.; and his niece Elizabeth Dankwardt of Ohio.
