He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Ganard Lance and Margie Clementine Lance (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Stella Lance (Hopkins); his children, Robin Hopkins (Dawn), Elbert Lance (Jesse) and Gennie Shank; and his siblings, Ed Lance, Sherman Lance, Jim Lance, Tommy Lance and Charlotte DeLoach. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
