She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Taylor and Betty Martin of Jackson, TN.. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James Wojcik of Crossville, TN.; her children, John Swafford and Casey Swafford; and her brother Ed Taylor.

She developed Alzheimer's Dementia at the age of 51, which prematurely ended her nursing career.
