He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Eugene Smith and Ethel Mary Smith (Tollett); his son Matthew Eric Smith; his sister Linda Sue Pennington; and his nephew Seth Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kaye Smith (Barnwell); his granddaughter Zoee Swan; his friend Gracie Stone; his great grandchildren, Audrey Swan and Genevieve Swan; his siblings, Renee Smith, Tom Smith, Lad Smith and Brenda Smith; his niece Sydney Smith; and his great-nieces, Kinley Dannels and Larkin Dannels.
