He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayden Lee Rector, Sr. and Georgia Mae Rector (Copeland); his daughter Tamara Brewer; and his siblings, Willie Rector, L. B. Rector, Campbell Rector, James Michael Rector and LouAnn Ford.
He is survived by: his daughter Tara "T. C." Clanton; his siblings, Mary Eller, Vera Brown (Ted), Jerry Rector (Marilyn), George Rector (Theresa), Arthur Rector and Hayden Lee Rector, Jr. (Jeannie); and his godchildren, Jimmy Sherrill and Ashley Sherrill. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
