She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilson and Verna Wilson; her sister Johnnie Wilson; her nephew Chip Simmons; and her significant other George Hassler.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne Swafford (Bruce Cannon); her granddaughters, Beth Brown (Mason) and Emily Swafford (Alex); her brother Robert "Bob" (Debbie Wilson); and her great grandchildren, Emma and Grayson Brown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
