He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Sr. Palmer and Shirley Ida Rowe Harrington; his brother Robert Palmer; his nephew Kenneth Palmer Jr.; and his granddaughter Tiffany Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rita Palmer of Crossville, TN; his children, Kimberly Ann Lynch (Scott) of Crossville, TN, Sheri Lynn Souders (Tony) of Sanford, SC and David Edward Palmer of Inwood, WV; his siblings, Kenneth David Palmer of New York and Tosca Wilson (Demetrius) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Zach Rhodes, Natanya Slone, Mark E. Perez, Micah Bussard, Josiah Bussard, Rita Palmer and Cadence Palmer; and his great grandchildren, Arianna, Owen, Camille, Octavia and Ophelia.
