With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Vane Pillen of Crossville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Pillen and Joyce Pillen; his brother Bob Pillen; his sister-in-law Janet Baker; his parents-in-law, Harold and Lillian McKinzie; his brothers-in-law, Lester Vankuren and Tom Baker; and his niece Karen Winget.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Pillen of Crossville, TN; his children, Scott Pillen of Linden, MI, Mike Pillen (Robin) of Pulaski, TN and Tiffany Bray (Derek) of Burton, MI; and his grandchildren, Lesley Pillen, Autumn Messina (Anthony), Ryan Haar (Aaron), Tyler Pillen (Jen), Savannah Bray, Brooklyn Bray, Trey Shirey (Daisy), Ali Briggs (Dustin) and Carter Shirey. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
