She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Everett Smith and Ora Ellen Smith; her husband Everett Junior Potter; her grandson Matthew Everett Potter; and her children-in-law, Dallas Hedgecoth and Anna Potter.
She is survived by: her children, David Everett Potter (Rhonda), Timothy Osborne Potter (Donna), Randall Matthew Potter (Jeanine), Mark Anthony Potter, Regina Dorene Hedgecoth, Rhonda Arlene Potter and Vanessa Denell Potter-Myers (Tony). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
